Africa & AIDS: Day 7

I prayed yesterday, but forgot to post so that you guys could pray with me....sorry! So I'm going to post yesterday's guidance now and then a separate post for Day 8. And then tomorrow, I'll post the next 5 or 6 days, so you can keep praying with me even while we're away for our mini vacation. They'll just be in reverse order on the blog, so you'll have to find the right day.

Give ear to my words, O Lord,
consider my sighing.
Listen to my cry for help,
my King and my God, for to you I pray.
In the morning, O Lord,
you hear my voice; in the morning
I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.

Psalm 5:1-3

One-fourth of the children in sub-Saharan Africa live in a family where an adult is HIV-positive. As parents die, grandparents and other extended family members try to provide for these orphans. But many don't have the financial resources to care for the children properly.

Pray that family members and other will find ways to care for the orphans of AIDS.
